Dear Jesus,
Thank You for Your grace, Your love, and Your power. Thank You for who You are. Thank You for bestowing upon me the blessing of being Your child. I am so undeserving, and yet You lavish love and blessings on me regardless. Your grace is unmatched. Thank You for advocating for me. You sit upon Your throne, the highest authority in heaven and on earth, and yet You are thinking of me. You are rooting for me. You are praying for me.
You came to earth to die in my place, a death that was rightfully mine. You took it upon yourself and rid me of sin and shame. You are the advocate between my repentant heart and the Law. You plead my case to the righteous Judge on my behalf.
Forgive me, Lord, when I forget these things. Help me see more clearly every day Your sacrifice and love for me. Guide me in Your ways, and continue refining me in Your holy fire so that I can better reflect You and Your heart.
