Your name

Father, hallowed be your name. 1 You are great, and your name is great in might. 2

Your name, O LORD, endures forever, your renown, O LORD, throughout all ages. 3 I will glorify your name forever. 4

Turn to me and be gracious to me, as is your custom toward those who love your name. 5 For your name’s sake, O LORD, pardon my guilt. 6 For your name’s sake, O LORD, preserve my life. 7 For your name’s sake lead me and guide me. 8

Give me an undivided heart to revere your name. 9

Remember this, O LORD, how the enemy scoffs, and an impious people reviles your name. Do not let the downtrodden be put to shame; let the poor and needy praise your name. Rise up, O God, plead your cause. 10 Act, O LORD, for your name’s sake. 11

All the nations you have made shall come and bow down before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name. 12 Your name will be magnified forever. 13
