Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart; for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of hosts. 2 How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! 3
Your decrees are wonderful; therefore my soul keeps them. The unfolding of your words gives light. 4 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. 5
Your word is truth. 6 My heart stands in awe of your words. I rejoice at your word like one who finds great spoil. 7
Oh, how I love your law! It is my meditation all day long. 8 My soul is consumed with longing for your ordinances at all times. 9 I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life. 10 Your decrees are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart. 11
