Our salvation has come

Behold, now is the day of salvation. 1

Oh sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvellous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. The LORD has made known his salvation; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations. 2 

The LORD has comforted his people. 3 Glad songs of salvation are in the tents of the righteous. 4

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people and has raised up a horn of salvation for us that we should be saved from our enemies. 5 Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation. 6

The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. 7
