Death is mankind's enemy, a giant
On the battlefield, gloating and prideful
The result of defiance to God's law
Our hearts faint at the sight of death, frightful
Such a nemesis cannot be conquered
As it seems, all who face it cannot win
Death grabs us and throws us into the grave
What we deserve for our heinous sins
Though, there is one Man who is the champion
He has a heart that is invincible
Jesus faced death's sting and went to the tomb
But He rose, a moment so pinnacle
Without sin, Jesus was victorious
Through the cross, He conquered the proud giant
Jesus is the knight who slew the dragon
The Olympian with honour highest
Jesus reigns as King of kings, Lord of lords
Sharing victory with those who believe
Life after death is our inheritance
Through faith in Christ, eternity is achieved
