Will God ever stop loving me?

I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love.

Romans 8.38

Picture yourself enjoying a perfect day at the beach, running around in a special kind of sunshine that never bakes or burns you. Suddenly you get a nutty idea. You decide to run from that wonderful sun. You hurry inside, but you can’t escape the sun's warmth. You lock yourself in a dark room, but light creeps in under the door. You discover that no matter where you go, the sunshine follows you.

Well, you may or may not try to run from the sun on the beach. But God’s love is something you never want to run away from. And you can’t! God’s love is like that special sunshine. It reaches everywhere. It never stops reaching out to you.

Read Romans 8.38-39, notice all the things that can’t stop God loving you. An idea could be to write it out in your own words. Here’s how the NLT puts it if it gives you a place to start from.

I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels can’t, and the demons can’t. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can’t keep God’s love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
