Will God tell me what will happen in my future?

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths.

Proverbs 3.5-6

 

There’s no doubt that God knows about your future. He has an awesome plan for your life. The big question is how much he plans to tell, and when. 

Actually, God wants to tell you a whole lot about your future, but he is too wise to tell you all of it at once. He will tell you only what you need to know exactly when you can handle it! For example, you don’t need to know in primary school, or year 4 for that matter, where you’ll go for University, what you’ll do for a living, who you’ll marry, or when you’ll retire! God lovingly chooses to keep your future a secret. But as you ask him to help you make right choices, starting now, he will show you his plan for your life a step at a time.

 

 

Have a piece a paper, on the top of it write, ‘My Future Is In God’s Hands'

Then draw whatever you think your future will look like. Then talk to your parents about every part of the picture you have drawn. 

Then pray together for God’s wisdom and direction as you as a family trust God to direct every path.
